Bring the Noise
In common use the word "noise" means any unwanted sound. Referring to image we identify "noise" as the random dot pattern which is superimposed onto the picture as a result of radiated electromagnetic activity. In Hungary this phenomenon is known as "Hangyák Háborúja" which translated means: "war of the ants". Noise can block, distort, change or interfere with the meaning of any message in human, animal and electronic communication. Thus, image "noise" is generally regarded as an undesirable by product of image capture. Although these unwanted fluctuations become known as "noise" by analogy to unwanted sound, they're inaudible and actually beneficial in some applications. In this project "noise" is implemented to create the subject matter itself, acknowledging IT as the DNA of digital photography.
